SCOTTY COATS
Scotty Coats is a lifelong skateboarder, DJ and music industry veteran. His contributions, both in sales and marketing, for labels such as Ubiquity and Luv N Haight, Stones Throw Records,
Innovative Leisure and Capitol Music Group/Virgin Records are countless. Currently Scotty is working with Good Neighbor, a 100% recyclable record manufacturing company.
He is also the Co-founder of Skateshop Day and The LBC Hero Squad Autism nonprofit based in Long Beach, California.
CHRIS NIERATKO
The Posse’s Executive Director and co-founder (Along with Atiba Jefferson and Adaku Ibekwe.). A skateboard industry veteran, Chris began his career as a hip-hop journalist for Thrasher and XXL in the mid-90s, was an editor of Big Brother Magazine (which spawned JACKASS), has been part owner of NJ Skateshop since 2003, former host of ESPN’s web series, Skaters In Cars, founder of SKATESHOP DAY and a former member of Vans Skateboarding digital team for 15 years. Raised in a violent, alcoholic home, skateboarding saved Chris’ life and in thanks he’s dedicated his life to paying it forward through The Posse’s mission.
